Top 5 Business Apps on Android in Kenya: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the top business apps on the Android platform in Kenya showed diverse performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Rapid Kopa254, developed by Mdev inc, experienced a fluctuating download pattern. Starting with around 14.7K downloads at the end of July, it peaked at 45.9K in mid-August before gradually declining to 23.7K by mid-September.

KPLC's MyPower app maintained a steady download rate throughout most of the quarter, with a notable surge to approximately 125.7K downloads in the week of September 23. Active users also saw a dramatic increase, jumping from around 32K in early September to 144.9K by the end of the month.

Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator had a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at 24.7K at the beginning of July and ending at 10.6K by the end of September. However, the app's active users remained resilient, growing from 26.8K to 50K over the quarter.

LinkedIn: Jobs & Business News saw a steady performance in Kenya, with weekly downloads peaking at about 16.6K at the end of September. Weekly active users hovered around 230K, showcasing a stable user base. Its weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately $2.6K.

Finally, Zoom Workplace demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads, reaching 13.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained fairly stable, averaging around 102K throughout this period. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, closing at around $175 weekly.
